SANTIAGO, Sept 10-Chile's Collahuasi copper mine, owned by global miners Xstrata Copper and Anglo American,was unaffected by a
5.8 magnitude quake on Wednesday and output was normal, a union leader said
."The mine was not affected at all," Hernan Farias, union leader of workers at the Collahuasi mine, near the northern city of Iquique, told Reuters
. "Operations are running normally."The U.S. Geological Survey earlier measured the earthquake magnitude at 6.1, then revised the figure downward.
