Chile's Collahuasi unaffected by quake-union boss

SANTIAGO, Sept 10-Chile's Collahuasi copper mine, owned by global miners Xstrata Copper and Anglo American,was unaffected by a 5.8 magnitude quake on Wednesday and output was normal, a union leader said."The mine was not affected at all," Hernan Farias, union leader of workers at the Collahuasi mine, near the northern city of Iquique, told Reuters. "Operations are running normally."The U.S. Geological Survey earlier measured the earthquake magnitude at 6.1, then revised the figure downward.
