There has been a succession of small earthquakes in the North Island.
The largest of the three jolts was felt in Bay of Plenty on Sunday night - it was a 4.3 magnitude rumble centred 10 kilometres north of Matata just before midnight.There was another, smaller, one in the same area an hour earlier.Then just before 3am Monday there was a 3.7 magnitude quake centred 30 kilometres north-east of Wellington.
