Magnitude-6 Earthquake in Peru Causes Alarm, but No Injuries

LIMA, Peru-A moderate earthquake caused alarm in southern Peru Tuesday, but there are no reports of injuries.Police and firefighters said the quake toppled the wall of a house and knocked rocks onto roads, disrupting traffic.The magnitude-6 earthquake struck around 4:13 a.m. local time (5:13 a.m. EDT; 0913 GMT) and was centered near Chuquibamba, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
